Your sky. Without the city lights.
Most of us live under skies washed out by city lights. Sky Unveiled gives you back the night. Stand in a quiet meadow under the real sky above your own city, on any night you choose, and lift the light pollution to watch the Milky Way appear.
Point at a star and pull the trigger, and a voice tells you about it, like the guide with the laser pointer at a star party: what it is, how to find it and, now and then, an old Greek or Arabic story. There are 375 of these, for every named star, all 88 constellations, every marked sight, the Moon and each planet, with captions.
Open a star, planet or deep-sky sight in binoculars or a telescope: clusters break into stars, Saturn shows its rings, and many have a long-exposure photograph to compare.
